Ever wondered what exactly is involved in the valuations of businesses? This presentation is sure to answer all your questions and more. Kurt will be going over valuations of small to medium-sized businesses and topics will include:
- Fair Market Value
- The three valuation approaches
- Information required to value a business
- Documents requested versus documents provided
- Same stack of documents = different conclusion
- Why value conclusions of the same business performed for different purposes are not always the same
- Why value conclusions for the same business as of different dates are not always the same
- Why a business that generates losses for tax purposes may still have value
- Practical examples
